No matter where you source your translation, there are 3 key questions you should ask about the person doing the actual translation:

• Will the translator be working INTO his or her native language?
  
• Does he or she live in a place where the target language is commonly spoken?
  
• Does he or she have proven experience with your kind of text?

The answer to each question should be “yes.”
